Format


Each competitor does 4 runs, two on Saturday morning and two on Sunday morning. The course will be changed between Saturday and Sunday. The competitor’s best 3 runs are counted and points are awarded based on ranking. All rounds count equally for ranking and the winner of each round receives a bonus point. If there is a tie in points, the competitor with the fastest time on their fourth run will be selected. 

 

World Cup and World Championship Teams

 

The Senior Elite Team will compete at World Cups 1, 2 and 3. The Senior Elite Team and the Senior National Team will compete in World Cup 5 and the World Championships. The Junior & U23 Team will compete in Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovenia. Athletes must meet the appropriate performance benchmark to be nominated to National Team. Canada has been allotted the following number of entries for each international event:
