Adriana Lilley Osende

Birthdate: June 15, 2001
Hometown: Dartmouth, NS
Canoe Club: Mic Mac Canoe Club
Sport: Women’s kayak
Coach: Chris Chaisson

I started paddling in 2008 because some family friends recommend the summer camp at Mic Mac to my parents. Ever since then I fell in love with the sport and soon began the all year round training.

My first nationals was in my home town in 2016 on lake Banook in Dartmouth where I got my first national k1 medal and made my first Olympic hopes team. I am so thankful for all of the traveling that I have been able to do thanks to paddling. My mother is from Spain so I have also been able to train there and I’ve made some lifelong friendships.

I am looking forward to the many years to come filled with racing for Team Canada and meeting new people.
