Kalob Grady

Birthdate: September 6 1994
Hometown: Westmeath Ontario
Sport: Kayak Freestyle

I started whitewater paddling at the age of 10. At the age of 13, I spent the whole summer on the river and realized I lived at one of the greatest places on earth for Freestyle Kayaking and my passion for the sport flourished. In the year that followed, I committed to the sport and dedicated all of my energy and effort into kayaking. The following spring, I finished 4th at the national team trials. In 2010, I won the Canadian Junior National Championships which allowed me to represent Canada the following year in Plattling, Germany and finished 6th. I ended my junior career with 12 podium finishes and the title of National Junior Champion.

My sights have now shifted toward the Senior Men’s division. I wish to continue my dedication to the sport striving to continue to improve, push my limits and raise the bar as to what is possible to accomplish in a kayak.
