Marc Creamer joined Canoe Kayak Canada’s national coaching team in 2016. He supported Canada’s first ever Paracanoe Team at the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games as Team Leader, where the sport made its debut. Marc was Head Coach at the Pointe-Claire Canoe Kayak Club for several years.

He is a former leader of Canoe Kayak Canada’s Coaches Technical Committee and has demonstrated his commitment to advancing coaching as a profession. He also sat on CKC’s Sprint Racing Council and High Performance Committee as Coaches’ Representative.

Marc won the Petro Canada Coach Excellence award in 2014, being recognized for coaching Paralympian and 5-time Paracanoe World Champion Christine Gauthier. He plays a key role in growing the National Paracanoe program and preparing the team for success at International events.
