Trinity’s first year on the national team was in 2016 and he trains at the Calgary Canoe Club in his home town. He started kayaking about 4 years ago as a way to train and be physically prepared for his ski season, a sport he’s been doing since the age of 5. After trying kayaking for the first time, he fell in love with the sport and won a bronze medal in his first ever race.
Trinity placed 3rd in 2017 at the Pan American Championships for VL2 and has represented Canada at World Cups events.
His goal for the coming years is to qualify for an A final in the KL2 200m event!
