Canoe Kayak Canada Names 7 New Athletes to the 2018 World Cup Sprint Teams 

OTTAWA, ONTARIO (May 1, 2018) – Canoe Kayak Canada (CKC) is pleased to announce several additions to the Canadian Team that will be representing Canada at the 2018 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cups at the end of May.

“The senior athletes added will provide flexibility in assessing our potential for crews to meet the Senior World Championship performance standard and the U23 athletes selected will gain valuable international competition experience as they develop toward being part of our Olympic Team in 2024” said Chief Technical Officer, Graham Barton.

The International Canoe Federation’s Sprint and Paracanoe World Cups will be held in Szeged, Hungary and Duisburg, Germany over two consecutive weekends starting May 18.
