David Thompson Paddlesport Classic
August 17 - August 19 2018 . Revelstoke, BC
125 km long stage race held over 3 days (August 17-19, 2018) on Lake Revelstoke from Mica Creek to Revelstoke Dam. The event involves paddling canoes, kayaks, SUP’s and other vessels and includes several portages. Course distances for individual days varies from 37 to 46 km. Paddlers enter to race the course in various boat, age and gender classes competing for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. For canoe, there are pro boat, stock and rec boat classes. There is also the option for beginners to paddle on Day 3 only. The event is hosted by the Revelstoke Paddlesport Association:
