DARTMOUTH, NOVA SCOTIA (May 17, 2018) – Canoe Kayak Canada’s paddlers will be lining up for the second set of the National Sprint Team Trials this weekend on Lake Banook in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This second selection of a series of three National Sprint Team Trials will take place from Friday, May 18thto Sunday, May 20th.
“While our World Cups teams are competing in Europe, these trials are a second competition opportunity for our Canadian paddlers to gain points in the selection process for the carded national sprint teams and the event will also serve as part of the selection process for the 2018 FISU World University Canoe Sprint Championships,” said Graham Barton, Chief Technical Officer at Canoe Kayak Canada. “It is good to be back on the Canadian waters and I am looking forward to seeing our athletes racing on Lake Banook this weekend”.

Following this event, Canoe Kayak Canada will be hosting the third and final set of National Sprint Team Trials at the Olympic Basin in Montréal, Québec, from June 22 to 24.
