Harvey Fraser Marathon Canoe Classic
June 09 - June 10 2018 .
2-day event to be held on June 9-10, 2018. Day 1 is a 20 km solo boat race on the Shuswap River near Enderby. Course includes upstream and downstream sections with buoy turns and is open to C-1 marathon canoes as well as solo kayaks and SUP’s. Day 2 is a 20km tandem boat race on the South and North Thompson Rivers at Kamloops. The course is technically challenging, featuring buoy turns, upstream and downstream sections, shallows and back channels. Depending on interest, a recreation canoe class on a shorter course may be added as well as allowing other boat types. The event is hosted by Thompson River Interior Paddle Sports
