Marathon – Marsh Mash Canoe and Kayak Race

The race is on the north branch of the canal that surrounds the well-known Holland Marsh and on the scenic Fraser Creek. It is well suited to new paddlers and has been the selection race for paddlers attending the ICF Marathon Worlds for the last eight years.
It was voted OMCKRA “race of the year” in 2008 and shared that award in 2017 attracts many of the top Marathon Canoe and Kayak racers in the province.
