Craven Rookie Marathon Race

The rookie race is designed to attract new paddlers, provide skill development and expose paddlers to a friendly competitive environment. Seasoned paddlers are encouraged to pair up with a new or novice paddler. Boats are urged to “stay in contact” with other boats to provide opportunity to wash ride and feel the exhilaration of racing in a pack.
