CanoeKayak Canada announces with sadness, the passing of René Pilon at the age of 75. Pilon was Commodore of Lachine Canoe Club and an active volunteer with the Quebec Federation. In 1991, he was received the R. Edgar Gilbert Award in the builder category for his outstanding contributions to the sport. Our thoughts are with the Pilon family and friends.
