2020 CKC Summit – Safe Sport Webinar Series

As part of our CKC 2020 virtual Summit, CKC offered webinar opportunities to provide details of our Safe Sport Policy Manual specific to different members of our community. The calls included information and explanations of the key aspects of Safe Sport relevant to Athletes, Club/Member Organizations and PTSO/Division Leadership Teams. Responsibilities relevant to Member implementation were discussed and various questions were answered. PowerPoint slides for each webinar are provided below.

Athletes Webinar

Canoe Kayak Canada invited athletes ages 15 years and older, their parents, and members of the paddling community to our Safe Sport – Athletes Webinar on Thursday November 26, 2020 at 7:30 pm EST. This call addressed important aspects of Safe Sport relevant to athletes, including its policy, practices, and reporting process. Additionally, there were opportunities on this call to submit questions. CKC is committed to protecting the wellbeing of this sport and its participants through policy and education.
