Whether it was as a dedicated sprint athlete or coach, he found his passion in the wide array of opportunities the sport of Canoe/Kayak presented him with. Among podium finishes in K4’s at Nationals, and first place finishes in K2’s and K4’s at Provincials, Sieger picked up the sport of Canoe Polo in 2009, which led to him being named captain of the U21 Men’s Canadian National Team at Canoe Polo Worlds in 2010, in Italy.
