Bio: I have been kayaking since 2010, when I joined because of a friend. I instantly loved it and have been doing it ever since. I have participated in two Alberta Summer Games, in 2012 and 2014, coming out with a total of 7 medals. I have also competed in 3 National Training Camps/Tournaments. I have participated in the Cup of the North tournament for 4 years, starting in 2012. I also commonly participate in the annual whitewater trips to the Red Deer River. Although I love kayaking, I am also interested in ceramics as I work at a ceramics studio and have been making pottery since I was 8. I enjoy working out after school in the school gym and recently got respect from some football players. In my free time I’m currently a honours student in high school.

Club Team: Wapiti Whitewater Kayakers
Bio: I have been kayaking since I was seven years old. I have been to three nationals (placed third in 2012),one Pan Ams(placed third),one Cup of the North, and two Alberta Summer Games(I brought home seven metals three in 2012 and four in 2014). I am currently paying for the Wapiti Whitewater Kayakers and the Women’s U21 Canadians team. Kayaking isn’t the only thing I do! I have been playing hockey since I was five, I have played in two Alberta Winter Games, one ATB Alberta Challenge Cup(won the gold), The Alberta Major Bantam Female Hockey League All Star Game representing the North, and the Alberta Campions Cup(placing third). I am currently on The AAA Preace Country Female Athletic Club. I believe playing multiple sports will make you become a better athlete, that’s why I would not be who I am now with out kayaking, hockey and the many other sports I played!

Bio: I’ve grown up with kayaking that has always seemed to be a part of my life. I’ve been doing it since I can remember recreational and then starting taking up some competitions in summer games and the 2014 nationals in Edmonton Alberta. Was able to take home a couple metals myself at the 2010 summer games and won gold with my polo team at the 2010 games as well. My main goal is to be able to take home some big wins and be able to come together with my team and absorb these experiences as we go. I look forward to representing my country in Italy this summer along side with my little sister. Just can’t wait to be able to be apart of this tremendous experience with such a inspiring team.
