Her first taste of the national team came in 2010 when she made the U21 Women’s team to represent them at the World Championships hosted in Italy. After competing at another worlds as a U21 team member she made the Senior team and played with them at the 2012 World Championships. When not busy training she is busy chasing a Kinesiology Diploma specializing in Adapted Physical Education by studying or volunteering with different Special Olympic programs throughout Red Deer.
