Lake Ontario Crossing
Event Navigation
The Lake Ontario Crossing is Canada’s first and only open-water distance paddling race. The 32 mile, point-to-point course matches the standard established by the Molokai-to-Oahu crossing in Hawaii and the Catalina Classic in California.
The Lake Ontario Crossing will run from Port Dalhousie, ON, to Cherry Beach in Toronto. Conditions can range from flat water to 15 km winds and four-foot swells, with prevailing winds most often running from the S/SW.
32 miles: Open to SUP, prone, OC and surf ski. Solo and relay teams. Pose questions to Niagara2toronto@gmail.com But check the website first.
